Burner Fire Control Completes Fire Safety Equipment Inspections for Kosmos-Trident Equatorial Guinea

After the acquisition of Hess Corporation’s interest in the Ceiba Field and Okume Complex assets in offshore Equatorial Guinea, Kosmos-Trident retained Burner Fire Control (BFC) as their fire safety contractor due to the longstanding history and experience BFC has on these facilities.

Scope of work includes inspection, repair, and maintenance of all fire fighting and safety equipment in the Okume Complex.  BFC Personnel were congratulated by the Kosmos-Trident Complex Safety Team after completion of the project noting that expectations had been exceeded.

The Ceiba field and Okume complex are located in the Gulf of Guinea, in water depths ranging from 50m to 800m. Trident is the operator of the G Block producing-fields, while Kosmos operates the surrounding exploration acreage: Block S, Block W and Block EG-21.
