Burner Fire Control Manufactures and Exports Custom Compressed Air Foam Fire Fighting Systems for the Royal Jordanian Air Force

CAFS Fire Suppression used for Aircraft Hanger Protection

LAFAYETTE, Calif., Nov. 11, 2013 — Burner Fire Control, manufacturer and a market leader for custom industrial fire suppression systems, announced that it has completed delivery of its flagship line of Stored Energy Compressed Air Foam Systems to the Royal Jordanian Airforce.

As the demand for CAFS Fire Suppression continues to rise, Burner Fire Control has been on the forefront of the development curve to provide some of the most advanced and reliable systems on the market. Over the past 10 years, there has been a large uptick in research focused on the performance of Compressed Air Foam and its ability to more effectively suppress fires in a variety of environments. Its use in first-line emergency response is now being adopted by organizations globally.

Keith Scott, Manager of the CAFS Division custom built the 60 Gallon Systems with upgraded booster reels, 100 feet of 1-inch booster hose, tip shut off, and 2 pressurized air bottles complete with regulators. The systems were mounted on custom built fork-liftable skids with top mounted hose reels to keep the units compact.

The systems were procured by Jordan-based Arabian Body-Builder Company, a premier provider of customized transportation solutions. Operations Manager of Arabian Body-Builders Company, along with the team from the Royal Jordanian Air Force, traveled to Lafayette, LA for operation and training on the units. Hands on Training was conducted in Lafayette, LA and live fire training was conducted at the CARROL L. HERRING FIRE & EMERGENCY TRAINING INSTITUTE at LSU in Baton Rouge where Burner is one of the top equipment providers for demos and training.  LSU FETI reports to the Stephenson National Center for Security Research and Training, or SNCSRT. LSU established SNCSRT to coordinate efforts in security research and training. The university is currently one of the top leaders in the country to provide training on anti-terrorism and counter-terrorism techniques and regularly supports projects initiated by state and federal law enforcement agencies.
